Student Life in Bari as a student at University of Bari Medical School
Bari, a coastal gem in Italy, is home to over 320,000 people. Bari has one of the Mediterranean's major ports, it combines urban convenience with a warm, student-friendly atmosphere.
Julian, 23: I'm not from Italy, so everything here seemed new at first. The city is charming, with beautiful old buildings. My program is tough but fulfilling. Professors are knowledgeable, and I learn a lot every day. I live in a shared apartment near the university. It's affordable and cozy. I’ve made friends from all over the world. We often study together, share meals. Italian food is amazing. The language barrier was hard initially, but I'm learning Italian slowly. The healthcare system here is fascinating, different from back home. Balancing studies, exploring the city, and socializing is challenging but enjoyable. Overall, I think, it is a great experience.
Julian: Its seaside allure and essential amenities make it an ideal destination for students. You actually find many students from western Greece, as they can take one of the ferry connections.
